Welcome to Abatecola Metal Sculptor...Welcome to our Web site! William R. Abatecola is a metal sculptor now residing in Tucson, Arizona since 1991.
Bill was born in Providence, Rhode Island and learned to weld at his father's and grandfather's side in East Providence, Rhode Island. Bill attended RISD and he has been creating steel abstract pieces for over 30 years. He has won awards and donated to charities, such as, Ronald McDonald House, Case de los Ninos, and others.
Bill works with copper, brass and steel. His conceptual designs sometimes include kinetic movement, stained glass, semi-precious stones and stainless steel. Bill's art ranges from exterior wind sculptures to interior realistic trees, plants, and abstract symbols.
His metal designs began on the East Coast in Rhode Island and grace homes and business in Houston, San Diego, New York, Arizona, Florida, Alaska & New England.
Personalized design is the most rewarding for Bill. Combining his imagination with his client's ideas has produced treasured works of art that reward the owner taking part in the creation. If you dream it, Bill will create it!
